At the Y, we hope to empower people so they can reach their full potential. These adult enrichment classes aim to spark creativity, promote healthy living, and create social connections. Most classes are free for active YMCA members. Materials fees may apply to some classes.
Ceramics: Creation & Open Studio
Join us weekly to create ceramic crafts. Cost of this class includes kiln work.
- Thursdays | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. OR Tuesdays | 6:00 - 8:45 p.m.
- Members $20 per person/per class.
Non-members $25 per person/per class. - Classes vary in level of "difficulty" but no experience in the field is necessary.
- This class is geared toward adult participants, but accommodation can be made for children ages 10+ (with a signed minor waiver submitted).
- Session packages available
- There is an $8 non refundable supplies fee.
Felting-First Fridays
This beginner needle felting class teaches the fundamentals of needle felting using wool roving and specialized barbed needles. Participants will learn the techniques to create beginner level projects that can be completed in the 2 hours of class time.
- All materials are provided for "in class" work, including wool, needles, and a foam mat. If interested, the teacher will direct you to where to purchase supplies, in order to continue needle felting at home.
- First Friday of the month from 1 - 3 p.m.
- Members $32 fee per class, Non-members $44 fee per class
- For everyone 12+
- There is an $8 non refundable supplies fee.
