NFL Flag Football

YMCA NFL Flag Football offers two different leagues for children ages 5-6 in Port Angeles and ages 7-12 in Port Angeles, Sequim and Joyce. Flag football is fun for everyone and a safer alternative for parents who might hesitate letting their children start tackle football.

YMCA youth sports encourage healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, positive self–image and a sense of fair play. Through our caring staff and coaches, we help your child develop the skills fundamental not only to play the sport, but also to be successful in the community such as cooperation, commitment, dedication and sportsmanship. Volunteer coaches, often parents of players, help run each team.

READY. SET. COACH!

Children who play sports at the YMCA discover so much more than their athletic abilities. They build character, develop self-confidence, create healthy relationships—and you can have a role in this transformation.

When you volunteer as a coach or referee, you’re helping others, meeting new people, keeping your mind and body healthy and learning new skills—and all of this feels great.

Doing something you love, while making a difference!

Whether you love the sport, working with kids, coaching, or giving back—you can enjoy your passion in a family environment, while using your life experience to make a difference in the lives of kids.

Member Support
The Olympic Peninsula YMCA is a nonprofit organization. We work side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, income or background, has the opportunity to live life to the fullest. Thanks to the generosity of the local community, the Y offers member support to any individuals or family who needs a little extra help. A Member Support Application will be available by request at your local YMCA.
