Event attendees will learn about the Science of Hope and how connections help us thrive. Together, we will discover the power of relationships in building a better life. We will also explore Social Emotional Learning (SEL) tools that support confidence, kindness, and strong relationships, including skills for navigating the sometimes hidden and confusing rules of society and social interactions.

The final hour of our event will focus on connection through games, conversation, and snacks in a welcoming and supportive environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice social skills, build confidence, and maybe even make a new friend or two.

Our presenter, Cherise Feser, is a Hope Navigator and holds a master's degree in both Social Emotional Learning and Special Education. She and the YMCA are greatly looking forward to this opportunity to build hope and connection within our community. This event is designed to be inclusive and accessible. If you have questions or need accommodations, please contact Tracey the YMCA of Sequim at 360-320-6021.
