Olympic Peninsula YMCA and Shore Aquatic Center Pilot Joint Membership

Olympic Peninsula, WA — February 2026 — The Olympic Peninsula YMCA and Shore Aquatic Center have launched a pilot joint membership program, offering a new membership option that provides access to both facilities through a single membership.

The partnership creates a more flexible and affordable way for community members to access fitness, aquatic and wellness opportunities across both organizations. By combining resources and expanding access, the Olympic Peninsula YMCA and Shore Aquatic Center aim to reduce barriers to participation and encourage lifelong healthy activity throughout the community.

“This pilot allows us to work together in a new way that expands access and maximizes the strengths of both organizations,” said Joey Belanger, vice president of operations at the Olympic Peninsula YMCA. “By offering a joint membership option, we’re making it easier for individuals and families to take advantage of the diverse programs and facilities available in our community.”

The pilot joint membership program is limited to the first 100 memberships and offers savings compared with purchasing memberships at each organization separately. Members receive expanded access to fitness, aquatic and wellness opportunities across all three Olympic Peninsula YMCA branches and Shore Aquatics Center. This partnership is intended to provide a joint access membership option; however, each organization will continue to operate all programs, services, and policies independently of one another.

The pilot joint membership began Feb. 2, 2026. New members can sign up online or in person at the front desk of any Olympic Peninsula YMCA location while space is available.
