Healthy Kids Day

Join us for Healthy Kids Day 2026!

This annual event is for children and families to have fun with other families and to enjoy activities at the Y that represent all areas of our impact goals:

Healthy Living
Social Responsibility

Join us at any of our Olympic Peninsula YMCA Branches for this 3-hour event! 

• YMCA of Port Angeles  Activities will be set up in the building, parking lot AND at the park across the street including:
  • Obstacle Course
  • Games
  • Coloring
  • Straight Up Foam & Mini Golf
  • First Step Family Support Center booth
  • Volleyball Game in the gym
  • YMCA Tours
  • Summer Camp Info (Registration fee waived if you register for Summer Camp this day)
  • Membership Special (We will waive the Membership Join Fee if you become a Y member this day)
• YMCA of Sequim  Activities will be set up on the front lawn (weather dependent), in the gym and on the pool deck including:
  • Bouncy House
  • Fitness Challenges
  • Boxing for fitness activities
  • Basketball Challenges
  • Safety Around Water (SAW) education
  • Swim Band Testing (kids, bring your swim suit if you want to test!)
  • YMCA Tours
  • Summer Camp Info (Registration fee waived if you register for Summer Camp this day)
  • Membership Special (We will waive the Membership Join Fee if you become a Y member this day)
• YMCA of Jefferson County  Activities will be set up in the gymnasium and in the pool including:
  • GYM: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bouncy House
  • GYM: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Pickleball Play Time
  • Pool: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Open Swim and Swim Band Testing (bring your swim suits)
  • Pool: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Swim Lessons Demos
  • YMCA Tours
  • Summer Camp Info (Registration fee waived if you register for Summer Camp this day)
  • Membership Special (We will waive the Membership Join Fee if you become a Y member this day) 

We have special gifts for participants (while supplies last; available on a first-come-first-serve basis). 

JUST ANNOUNCED: $0 Join Fee for any non-members that sign up for a new Y Memberships that day PLUS, the registration fee for Summer Camp will be waived if you register for camp during Healthy Kids Day!

*All non-Y members age 18+ must provide a valid ID to the front desk upon entry.
**Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult while in the facility.
***Non members who would like to stay in the facility past 1 p.m. must re-check-in at the front desk and adhere to day-pass requirements.
