YMCA of Sequim Implements an Annual Closure

To ensure our facility remains a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone.

Our YMCA staff and volunteers will be working on a deep cleaning and refresh of the rest of the facility. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important work. These closures allow us to maintain high standards and provide you with the best possible experience when you return. During the closure, which starts the day after Labor Day (the entire branch will be closed Monday, September 1st in observance), all areas of the facility will be impacted with the exception of the Wellness Center. 

  • Monday, September 1st: Entire branch closed in observation of Labor Day
  • Tuesday, September 2nd - Sunday, September 7th:
    • The areas that will be closed next week are:
      • Front Entrance
      • Front Desk
      • Entire Pool Deck
      • Locker Rooms
      • Universal Changing Rooms
      • Member Lounge
      • Play Care
      • Gymnasium
      • Hallway
    • The areas that will remain open next week, for special hours* are:
      • Wellness Center (Entrance through the Northeast doors)
      • Adjacent bathrooms

Special Wellness Center hours next week:
Mon      Closed for Labor Day
Tue-Fri  5 am - 7 pm
Sat        7 am 5 pm

What you can look forward to returning to:
  • Shower and locker room deep cleaning and new paint.
  • Pool deck deep cleaning and new paint.
  • Resurfaced floors in the gymnasium and racquetball courts.
  • Exterior landscaping and repairs.
  • Interior deep cleaning and repairs.
