Judo

The Sequim YMCA is excited to offer Judo lessons monthly!

The word “Judo” means “gentle way” and carries the motto “Sei-ryoku Zen-you” or “maximum efficiency with minimal effort”.  Judo is based upon traditional Jujitsu fighting and self-defense techniques of Japan.  Judo consists primarily of throwing and grappling techniques.  Families (including parents) are encouraged to participate. Both beginner and advanced students are welcome. Students must be at least six years old.
